Wolff: Antonelli must not get carried away now
Sportingly, things are going well for Kimi Antonelli, who yesterday already won his third Grand Prix in a row. According to Toto Wolff, a certain “risk” is that the teenager now gets carried away. The biggest “problem” is the public.
“I think the easier thing is to make sure he stays firmly grounded here in the team,” says Wolff. However, in public, especially in his home country Italy, he is now being celebrated extremely.
“That is something we have to keep within limits. There are so many requests from the media and sponsors who want to take up his time, and it is up to us to pull the handbrake,” emphasizes Wolff.
“I think none of us would have expected such a streak. The car is very good, the engine fits. But how he managed to use it every week – that is something special,” he praises the 19-year-old.

Leclerc penalty
Speaking of Charles Leclerc: Formula 1 has released this short video, which shows exactly why he received a retrospective penalty yesterday. A pretty clear case.
Ferrari: Updates work, but …
There is also positive news from Ferrari. Charles Leclerc emphasized that the upgrades introduced in Miami work. The “problem,” however, is that the other teams have also made progress.
“The thing is: The others are also going full throttle, and probably their upgrade package was a bit better. But we have more innovations coming soon, and hopefully these will help us to be a bit ahead again,” says Leclerc.
“They are just small details, but with this generation of cars, especially in the first year, it will mainly depend on development. So we have to make sure that we do everything perfectly in terms of development,” he emphasizes.
And in this respect, he first draws a positive conclusion after Miami.
