The more experienced of the two Racing Bulls drivers shared this small detail via Instagram. “Shoutout to easyJet,” was his comment on the travel habits of the team from Faenza. Lawson did not score any World Championship points in Spa-Francorchamps with a twelfth place.
On social media, numerous fans were more than thrilled by the modesty of the two drivers. One comment read: “I love everything about it: They fly together with a cheaper airline. The longer the season lasts, the more I love this team.”
Other fans praised the fact that Lindblad and Lawson forgo a private jet despite their position. In the jet-set world of Grand Prix sports, the use of private aircraft was and is anything but unusual.
Other fans joked that the Racing Bulls probably have to watch their budget to avoid exceeding the prescribed budget cap. It should be noted that travel costs, as well as driver salaries or marketing costs, are exempt from this cap.

In the Constructors’ World Championship, the Racing Bulls are in sixth position, tied on points with Alpine. However, the Enstone-based team is in fifth position in the standings, as they managed to secure a surprising podium with Pierre Gasly in Monaco. Both teams are currently considered undisputed as the best constructors in the midfield.
Before the race in Belgium, Lindblad and Lawson had managed to score points in every Grand Prix since Monaco. However, both Racing Bulls did not start with the same material in Spa-Francorchamps.
The team’s new upgrade package was ultimately only available for Lindblad. For the Hungarian Grand Prix, both cars will be equipped with the package. In the Drivers’ World Championship, Lawson is in tenth position with 39 World Championship points, 17 World Championship points ahead of teammate Lindblad in eleventh position.
