(Motorsport-Total.com) – Before the Hungarian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton attracted attention with a humorous moment off the racetrack. A video released by Ferrari quickly went viral millions of times on social media.

Hamilton is first seen at routine media appointments, signing team caps among other things. At the same time, Leclerc quietly grabs a large boom microphone and holds it through a door frame directly above his teammate’s head.
Hamilton notices the sudden disturbance and initially reacts visibly annoyed. He pushes the microphone aside before Leclerc reveals himself behind the door. The annoyance immediately turns into laughter.
The seven-time Formula 1 world champion jokingly counters the prank and threatens to use the nearby camera to reveal one of Leclerc’s preferred pizza toppings publicly. Laughing, the Monegasque quickly withdraws and says, “Not in front of the camera! I’m taking my microphone with me. I still have some work to do, LH!”

Fans react enthusiastically to the scene
The scene also caused numerous reactions on social media. “Lewis looked really angry at first, haha. Now I know what he looked like under the helmet last year,” writes a user on Reddit. Another comments: “If you look closer, it’s even funnier. He probably thought it was the Netflix team. Only when he realizes it’s Charles does he have to laugh.”
Yet another user writes: “The way he just pushes the microphone away and seems more slightly annoyed than really angry suggests that this is not the first time something like this has happened to him.”
Hamilton’s joking reaction was also well received by fans. “Threatening to publicly reveal his questionable pizza preferences in a building full of Italians is pretty mean,” says another comment. Another user jokes: “Oh no, this will definitely trigger new conspiracy theories. F1-Pizzagate.”
