But first to Leclerc: The impact into the tire stacks at the exit of the Alboreto curve (formerly Parabolica) at the end of the second lap was massive – speeds of over 230 km/h and forces of 50G are mentioned.
Leclerc was checked at the medical center after complaining of neck pain and slight visual disturbances. However, he left the track without lasting complaints and made the journey home to Monaco on his own. The follow-up examinations on Monday also showed no traces of the accident. Leclerc is therefore fully fit for action.
The car with the number 16 caused greater concern. But there is also an all-clear regarding the mechanics: both the chassis and the gearbox withstood the heavy impact.
Only the power unit is still under close observation. The engineers are currently checking final details but expect to be able to save the Type 067/6 along with the new ADUO2 upgrade.

Ferrari can therefore start the trip to Madrid noticeably relieved. However, the setbacks from Monza have not completely disappeared. Hamilton’s sharp criticism of the lack of team management among the drivers and the disappointment about having wasted the car’s potential again due to faulty procedures weigh heavily.
The Scuderia still misses the typical “racer” at the command post – someone who spares the team such embarrassments in the decisive race moments.
Just in time for the end of the race, rumors about a shaky leadership of Frederic Vasseur surfaced; the Scuderia leadership is said to be dissatisfied with the work of the French team boss. At the moment, however, this seems like the usual unrest after a heavy slap in front of the home crowd.
Personnel reinforcements in the pit lane are not planned for the time being – new forces are only expected at the factory in Maranello.
