Verstappen: Then I’ll play Mario Kart
Max Verstappen also still doesn’t like the new rules after the first race. “If you like it, then that’s okay. But I do that at home when I play Mario Kart,” he says about some things on the track.
While there were many overtaking maneuvers yesterday, many of them were too artificial for Verstappen and other observers. “Personally, I don’t like it,” the four-time world champion makes clear in any case.
He continues to believe that the current state is not appropriate for Formula 1.

Fastest Lap
There is no bonus point for it this year either, but Max Verstappen set the fastest lap yesterday. You can watch it again in the video below.
For Verstappen, it was already the 37th fastest lap of his career. This puts him only one fastest lap behind Sebastian Vettel (38) in the all-time list.
So he could climb to shared fifth place as early as this weekend in China.
