(Motorsport-Total.com) – Lando Norris will be the focus of a new three-part documentary series on Prime Video in 2027. The reigning Formula 1 world champion has announced the project, which carries the working title Lando. The series is produced by Box to Box Films, the London production company behind the Netflix hit series Drive to Survive.

The docuseries follows Norris during the 2026 Formula 1 season, in which he defends his first world championship title. However, the main focus is on the Briton’s life off the racetrack. According to the official description, viewers will get “unprecedented access to a more personal side of his life.”

The documentary aims to show what the life of a 26-year-old Formula 1 world champion looks like outside the cockpit. The camera crew follows Norris over the summer until his 27th birthday on November 13 – from holidays with friends to quieter, personal moments with his family to emotional highlights on the track.

The darker sides and challenges of a life in the spotlight will also be addressed. Norris is now one of the most well-known names in global sports and is therefore under special scrutiny even outside Formula 1. The documentary also sheds light on the beginnings of his career.

Since Norris first sat behind the wheel of a kart in his hometown of Bristol, motorsport has meant above all joy and enthusiasm for him. Inspired by his sporting role models, including MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, he worked his way up through the junior categories.

Release date not yet known

For Norris, however, it is not the first time he has given his fans a behind-the-scenes look at his life. In addition to his appearances in Drive to Survive, the Brit has already been releasing his own videos and vlogs under the name LandoLOG for some time.

The new series, however, is intended to provide much deeper insights. “I already share a lot of what I do, but this will give people more access than ever before to my life outside of racing,” says Norris.

“I was really heavily involved in the whole project, so I hope people will enjoy seeing more of what happens behind the scenes.” The series is directed by Ben Phethean, while Clare Little serves as producer. Tom Keeling, Warren Smith, and Jon Smith are on board as executive producers for Box to Box Films.

Norris is already enthusiastic about the project: “I’m really looking forward to doing this with Prime Video. We’ve been filming for a while now and I’ve had a lot of fun.” The release of the three-part documentary series is planned for 2027. A specific date has not yet been announced.
