(Motorsport-Total.com) – The big Formula 1 launch, which was held in February 2025 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the premier class at the London O2 Arena, will be repeated once again next year – but no longer in the English capital, but from February 18 to 20, 2027 in Milan, Italy.

On Friday, Formula 1 officially announced that it will build on the successful anniversary event “F1 75 Live”: Under the name “F1 Live Milan,” the fashion metropolis will become the venue for a huge fan event with two main pillars: the “Milan Fan Festival,” which runs over all three days, and “F1 The Show” as an evening show spectacle.
At the show on the evening of February 18, the drivers and team principals of all eleven Formula 1 teams will appear. “We always think big and push boundaries. ‘F1 Live Milan’ will be an incredible experience created at its heart for our fans,” says Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali. “We want them not only to watch the sport but to fully immerse themselves in it.”

This will change before the 2027 season. “While Formula 1 continues to open up new target groups worldwide, racing remains our soul,” says Domenicali. “But we also want to create unforgettable experiences that bring the fascination of Formula 1 to life on an even bigger stage and continue to test what is possible.”
Ticket sales expected to start by the end of 2026
“Building on the extraordinary success of ‘F1 75’ in London, ‘F1 Live Milan’ will transform the city into a Formula 1 festival for three unforgettable days and bring people from all over the world together to celebrate our sport. I know that my Italian compatriots will give the arriving fans a fantastic welcome.”
“I can hardly wait to see how the city blossoms with the energy of Formula 1 and memories for eternity are created,” adds the Italian. Which specific activities and events will take place on the remaining days of the three-day program has not yet been finalized.
