(Motorsport-Total.com) – Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris has revealed in a video published by McLaren on social media which four Formula 1 drivers are among his favorites. The McLaren driver chose exclusively world champions whom he already admired in his childhood.

“I’m Lando, and these are my four favorite Formula 1 drivers of all time,” says the current world champion to the camera. Unsurprisingly, the Briton’s list begins with two compatriots: Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. “We’re starting with two Britons. More specifically: Jenson and Lewis.”
“Those were the guys I cheered for as a kid and who inspired me,” Norris adds. “So, two Britons, two incredible drivers, two McLaren drivers, two of my favorites.” For the remaining spots, Norris also turns to two other world champions whose careers he has followed closely.

“Places three and four are a bit more difficult. I’m going to name drivers I grew up with, whom I admired and whose work I witnessed. So, number three, I would probably go for Sebastian Vettel. He’s just a great guy. A really good guy.”

“When I started car racing, he was winning his world championships with Red Bull,” the current McLaren driver looks back. “Witnessing that was impressive. He was a passionate driver, had style with his helmets and so on. In that respect, he was a completely different driver for me.”
“Number four, my fourth favorite driver. I would probably go for Fernando Alonso,” says Norris and explains: “I also admired him as a child and witnessed his work during my first years at McLaren when he was still driving for McLaren.”
“He just has a good personality, is a lovely person I get along well with, and he’s just a nice guy,” Norris finds. “So when you combine a good personality with a great driver, then in my opinion all four are pretty good drivers.”
