“I am currently building my project Apollo, a production company I founded,” reveals the 41-year-old ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. The logo of his new production company, which is fully named “Dawn Apollo Films,” is already visible in the lead-up to the current Formula 1 film.

The car for the new Formula 1 film with Brad Pitt

The first part of the successful feature film tells the story of the “nomad racer” Sonny Hayes (played by Brad Pitt), who returns to the top class to race for the struggling APXGP team of his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem).
Work on the second part began a few months ago. “So that will take some time.” When the second part of the Formula 1 film will be released is still completely open. “But I also have other projects in the pipeline,” adds the current Ferrari driver, who wants to establish himself as a producer after his Formula 1 career.
“I am trying to finish a few more scripts based on my own stories or ideas,” Hamilton reveals. “There will be a TV series. And at least one documentary. But the whole thing will stretch over the next five years.”
