(Motorsport-Total.com) – On Instagram, David Schumacher and his wife Vivien have officially announced that they are expecting their first child. After a long-term relationship, the two got married in February 2026. The couple has not revealed any further details about the pregnancy via social media.

The name David Schumacher appears in motorsport not only as a TV expert for the DTM or as a racing driver on the Nordschleife. After all, the 24-year-old is the son of former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher. The six-time Grand Prix winner and Sky expert can therefore look forward to becoming a grandfather in the future.
While David Schumacher was mainly active in Formula 3, the DTM, and the ADAC GT Masters, his partner also has a career in motorsport to look back on.
Vivien Schumacher, formerly Vivien Keszthelyi, competed in the W Series and the Audi R8 Cup, among others, albeit with only moderate success. The Hungarian-born racing driver was last active in 2021, then in the Euroformula Open for Team Motopark.

All Formula 1 cars of Ralf Schumacher
David Schumacher was recently seen on track at events like the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Both cars for which Schumacher was registered as a driver at the highlight in the “Green Hell” retired before the finish. Since last season, Schumacher has been part of the main racing team’s squad and occasionally pilots a Ford Mustang GT3 here.
Furthermore, father and son have already started together in the Prototype Cup Germany, even winning right away. There are also unusual appearances such as a start in this year’s German Kart Championship in Ampfing. Schumacher competed here with teammate Maini. It is unclear whether we will see David Schumacher again as a driver in the DTM.
