(Motorsport-Total.com) – Between the Formula 1 test drives in Bahrain and the season opener in Australia, Ferrari star Charles Leclerc has already celebrated the first success of the year: The 28-year-old Monegasque, who got engaged last year, said “I do” to his partner Alexandra Saint Mleux on Saturday (28. February).

First rumors arose earlier when the couple was spotted in Monaco in a classic 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa: Leclerc in a light suit, Saint Mleux in a wedding dress. A little later, the Formula 1 pilot officially confirmed the wedding.
Saint Mleux has also since changed her name to Leclerc on social networks. The couple was first seen together in public in July 2023 in Wimbledon, after rumors about a possible relationship between the Ferrari star and the influencer had already been circulating.
Meanwhile, the Mexican-born woman is a regular guest in the paddock of the premier class, as is dog Leo. “He is my best friend. He is the best. I take him to most races,” Leclerc said in an interview with GQ Sports.

The new Formula 1 season begins as early as next weekend with the Australian Grand Prix (8. March), before heading straight on to China. During the test drives in Bahrain, Leclerc left a strong impression, even if the balance of power remains unclear.
“As far as performance is concerned, it is still difficult to assess where we really stand because the teams are hiding their true form,” the Ferrari pilot emphasized. “That’s why it’s important not to focus too much on lap times, but to prepare for the first race.”
“We will take it step by step and try to understand how we can get the maximum out of our car. We have a lot of data to analyze before we arrive in Melbourne, and then we will see how things develop on site.”
