No Friday drivers
For completeness: We will not see any Friday drivers in FT1 this time. On sprint weekends, teams logically refrain from this because otherwise the regular driver would have to go directly into sprint qualifying without training.
For the first time since Monaco a month ago, we will see a first training session with all 22 regular drivers again.

Verstappen: No desire for Lego parade
On Sunday, the organizers have planned a special driver parade. As last year in Miami, the drivers are supposed to drive again in special Lego cars.
Max Verstappen has no desire for that at all. He explains to Viaplay: “I prefer to play with Lego at home with the kids.” He therefore prefers a “more professional” and classic driver parade.
“After all, we are Formula 1 drivers, and I think we shouldn’t look like children and clowns trying to ram each other. I don’t think Formula 1 needs that,” said Verstappen.
However, he will participate anyway. “I will just do my lap and wave to the fans because they deserve to see us,” he emphasizes. But he probably won’t have much fun.
Formula 2 training: Alpine junior leads
Formula 2 has also completed its training in Silverstone. There, Alpine junior Alexander Dunne prevailed ahead of the two Ferrari junior drivers Rafael Camara and Dino Beganovic.
Oliver Goethe only finished 16th after his podium in Spielberg. In about an hour, the Formula 1 training will start.

Horner to Aston Martin?
The rumor mill is buzzing again. This time it’s about ex-Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, as the Daily Mail reports that Aston Martin is said to be interested in him.
It is reportedly not the first time that Lawrence Stroll has knocked on Horner’s door – so far without success. Is there really something to it? Of course, we keep our eyes and ears open.
Updates
The FIA published the official list of all updates this weekend a few minutes ago. However, there are only minor packages, which is not surprising.
Because on a sprint weekend with only one training session, no one likes to introduce major upgrades. Five of the eleven teams therefore brought nothing at all.
